NOW OPEN – Blenheim Palace: Icons of British Fashion
Zandra is thrilled to be exhibiting in the Red Drawing Room at Blenheim Palace as part of Icons of British Fashion.
Vibrant hand-printed chiffon, punk safety pins, and intricate beading adorn original garments by Rhodes, showcasing key looks of her 56-year-long illustrious career in fashion. With the opulent Red Drawing Room as her backdrop, Rhodes’ garments clothe her mentor Adel Rootstein’s famously lifelike mannequins, as if in the middle of a fabulous party.
The garments displayed are a selection from the Zandra Rhodes Foundation archive which holds over 6000 garments. In support of the Foundation, the garments exhibited will be sold at an exclusive auction hosted by Kerry Taylor Auctions in the near future.
